Library Dedicates New Flag and Flagpole

 
 "Today we dedicate a flag and a flagpole at Shuter Library, due to the generosity and work of approximately 75 people of our community. The United States flag will fly here at the Library as a symbol not only of America's proud past, but more importantly as a belief that America will continue as a great nation into the future. The Library's mission in books is also about greatness by promoting smart well-read citizens thinking for themselves, so it is appropriate that the Flag and the Library are brought together today. We hereby dedicate this flagpole to Stu Lassetter and all other Veterans of Moreno Valley in thanks for their service and sacrifice in the past, service that has given us our chance at a democratic future."
