Trash to Treasures
Shuter Library’s beloved annual Trash to Treasures Flea Market Sale returns to
the Angel Fire Community Center this year!
Every year, community members come together to donate, volunteer, shop, and support the Library through this fun and tradition-filled event. Whether you are clearing out treasures from your home, volunteering your time, or searching for unique finds, your participation directly benefits Shuter Library and the programs and services it provides to our community year-round.
Shuter Library is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and is not a tax-funded entity. The Library is supported in large part through the generosity of donors, fundraising events, grants, and community support. Events like Trash to Treasures help sustain library programs, materials, technology, and services for residents and visitors of all ages.
All donations and proceeds from Trash to Treasures benefit the Shuter Library.

Volunteer
WE NEED YOUR HELP

to sort, price and receive items during set up on
June 23rd through July 2nd (except Sunday).
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

to assist the customers and run the sale on July 3rd (8-4) and/or July 5th (8-3 plus teardown)
Especially looking for help on: Bicycle Tuning, Electronics, Furniture, Heavy Item Pick Up, Load In/Load Out, Linens, Media, Offsite Storage Sales, Toys
This event is the most fun of all our fundraisers!
If you’d like to volunteer, please check-in on the week of June 23rd at the Angel Fire Community Center and sign in to help.

Donations
We will accept donations:
June 23rd through July 2nd (except Sunday).
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
at the Angel Fire Community Center.
Support your local Library with your treasures!
NOTE: We can NOT accept the following items:
Christmas trees and Christmas lights, entertainment centers, mattresses, pads, and pillows, TVs, except for flatscreens that work, bathtub or shower enclosures, most Building Supplies, used socks or underwear, skis, poles, ski boots, large desks, most, if not all headboards.
Anything with significant staining or damage.
Undergarments need to be in original packaging.
Large Item Pick Up
If you have large items, you can bring them to the Angel Fire community center anytime during the two week donation period. If you would like to arrange for large item pick up, please do so by filling out the form below or calling the library at 575 377-6755.
You can schedule for a morning or afternoon pick up on
June 29 or 30th and the library will confirm with you on the day arranged for your pick up with the approximate time for pick up.
SALE DAYS
JULY 3rd (8-4) & JULY 5th (8-3)
If you are coming to shop and from out of town, follow the signs located in the village, to the Angel Fire Community Center at 15 CS Ranch Rd, Angel Fire, NM 87710
All donations and Trash to Treasures sales are final.
You must arrange for pick up of all purchased items. At this time no delivery option is provided.
All donations and proceeds from shopping go to the benefit of the Shuter Library!
