It's quick and easy to REGISTER for the online auction

and BID for your favorite items!

 

HOW DO I REGISTER?

To register via text message:

shuterspringfling followed by your full name To: +15415834642

For Example: shuterspringfling John Smith

Follow the registration link you are sent from GalaBid to log in and place bids.

 

To register via email browser:

Visit: galabid.com/shuterspringfling

Click on the 'Register' button

Enter your email details and click 'Register'

 

You will then receive a text to your mobile phone or an email message with a verification link. Either enter the verification code into your device or simply click the link in the text/email to log in. You are now ready to bid.

How do I edit my registration information?

To make changes to the details you entered when registering for the auction, click on the ‘my account’ tab and then ‘account details’.


 

HOW DO I PLACE A BID?

Click the item that you would like to bid on, then enter your bid where the box has ‘enter bid amount’. To submit the bid, click ‘bid now’.

 

Your bid must be equal to or above the ‘next minimum bid’ which is displayed under the item name. If your bid is successful you will see a ‘winning’ label next to the item name.

 

If you are not registered for the auction you will be prompted to enter your details and register before placing your bid.

 

How do I know if I’ve been outbid on an item?

If you are outbid, you will receive a text notification or email with a link back to the item. You can click on this link to take you directly to the item where you have the option to place a higher bid. 

 

The item you have been outbid on will have an ‘outbid’ label next to the item name.

 

You can also check by going to the ‘my account’ tab and clicking on ‘activity’.

 

How do I know if I’ve won an item?

If you win an item, you will be notified via text message or email when the auction closes. The message will contain a link that you can click ON to view your invoice and make payment for the item/s.

If you want to support the library but don’t care to bid on auction items, a monetary donation will happily be accepted. Please register, then follow the instructions below.

HOW DO I MAKE A DONATION?

To make a donation, click on the donation icon within the item list and enter the amount you would like to donate. After entering the amount, click on the donate button. You will then be prompted to enter your credit card details so the donation can be processed. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes via text or email at the close of the auction. Or you can download your receipt by going to My Account - Checkout.
